\nSiena offers a plenty of interesting activities for kids even in January, so we suggest you some educational initiative, workshops and theater shows suitable to children.<\/p>\n

At Corte dei Miracoli, located at Via Roma 56, is scheduled the workshop “The World Of Ed Heck”<\/strong> American Pop Art For Kids, entirely devoted to the discovery of New York through the artistic style of Ed Heck.
\nChildren will experience drawing, painting, crafting and English lessons<\/strong> with the help of tablet and pc. On Sunday 18th at 3.30 pm, there is the course Museums In Progress – Armi Scudi E Castelli<\/strong>, a guided tour to the Civic Museum of Palazzo Pubblico<\/strong> with an educational workshop which will be held at Corte dei Miracoli. \nAn effective way to convey to children the beauty of art, history, and to entice them to develop creativity is to tell a story in the shape of theatrical performance, more engaging than a lesson and more funny than a video.<\/p>\n

For this reason we recommend the events of the series \u201cIl Conte Racconta\u201d<\/strong> (the next will be on 10th and 17th January, 14th and 28th February), in which an actor tells the story of Count Guido Chigi, who was for 37 years Rector of the Magistrate of the Contrade and Prior of the Sovereign Contrada dell’Istrice, a character of great importance for the history of Siena.
