The weapon is still visible and is believed to be the &#8220;sword in the Stone\u201d, because since then it has remained intact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/palazzoravizza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/San_galgano_interno_2007.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-2136 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 2px solid grey;margin-top: 2px;margin-bottom: 2px\" title=\"http:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File%3ASan_galgano_interno_2007.jpg\" =\"Di Vignaccia76 (Opera propria) [CC-BY-3.0 (http:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/3.0)], attraverso Wikimedia Commons\" data-original=\"https:\/\/palazzoravizza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/San_galgano_interno_2007.jpg\" width=\"737\" height=\"493\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Cloister\u00a0of Montesiepi<\/strong> overlooking the Abbey is otherwise perfectly preserved and keeps the shrine that protects the <strong>\u201csword in the stone\u201d<\/strong>; we suggest a visit because the interior chapel is frescoed by Ambrogio Lorenzetti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monticiano<\/strong> is a small town located on the right side of the valley of the river Merse and is surrounded by lush forests, a nice ernative for those who love to walk into nature, it is also at the border with <strong>Terme di Petriolo<\/strong>, thermal spring known since the Roman Age.
