The next stopovers are the last of this edition, so we recommend the 3 events in November that you can book in advance to enjoy an excellent dinner and celebrate the unique charm of Siena. On Tuesday 7th November the dinner will be at restaurant La Grotta del Gallo Nero, specialized in natural local products based menus, a place that reminds to the medieval tradition in furniture and recipes, prepared according to the customs with a touch of innovation.
Here the special guest will be the restaurant Cavalluccio in Castelsardo (province of Sassari), a challenge that will declare the triumph of the Italian cuisine, for the delight of gourmet customers. On Wednesday 13th November Girogustando will take place in Montepulciano at the restaurant Il Covo, awarded by Tripadvisor and specialized in char-grilled meat. Il Covo, besides, offers fish based recipes, handmade pasta, pizza cooked with 24 hours natural rising.
The meeting will be with a similar culinary tradition, in fact the restaurant Zibù in Umbertide (province of Perugia) is in Umbria, so you can taste the typical dishes of the most loved regions of Central Italy. The last event will be on 14th November at restaurant Fonte Gaia in Siena, located just at Piazza del Campo, a venue which name derives from the main Senese fountain, one of the greatest expressions of the XV century Italian sculpture.
The restaurant will guest the Cafè Romano from Rome, with a menu that includes courgette flowers with sed codfish, grilled tuna and paccheri (a kind of pasta) with cheek lard, a combination of delicious flavors.
